This score gives you an overall rating for the way you are managing your capital reserve. To earn three houses, your co‑op needs an Agency-approved capital replacement plan; a capital reserve replenishment rate of more than 1.1, owing to net additions to the reserve over the past three years (see your replenishment ratio benchmark); and annual contributions that reflect your buildings' value (this is the guaranteed replacement value assessed by your insurer).

The co‑op’s performance on this measure is shown on a scale of zero to four houses (four houses is a home run!). You can score up to three houses as described above. The fourth house is awarded when you score three or more in the previous year. Good performance is seen by appearing on the right-hand side of the scale.
Unlike the other measures, this score does not come from comparing your co‑op with others. This score is our sample co‑op's overall rating for the way it has managed its capital reserve. The rating is based on the information the co‑op reported to the Agency in its Annual Information Returns.
